About Terra Mental Health
At the heart of this practice is a belief in thoughtful, collaborative, and compassionate care. With over 25 years of experience as a nurse and more than a decade as a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I bring both clinical depth and a human-centered approach to every visit.
Theresa Donley, APRN-FPA, PMHNP-BC
Owner of Terra Mental Health
Theresa has been a nurse over 25 years, “growing up” in the emergency department she has been at the bedside of a little bit of everything.
I really found myself in the quiet moments, the moments that required presence and precision.
Being there for someone has come easy for me and this has continued in the last 10 years as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
I believe the most meaningful support comes through listening, lifestyle change, and simply having space to explore what healing means for you. I deeply trust in the power of science and the life-changing potential of psychiatric medications—they can be an incredibly helpful tool for many people. At the same time, I know they’re not the whole answer for everyone, and sometimes they might not be the answer at all. and that’s okay too.
My role is to offer guidance, options, and support and not to dictate your path.
This practice is grounded on the idea that patients are the experts of their own lives and families. Together, we’ll create a care plan that fits who authentically are.
